Ingenieurbüro Maeser is running a cooperation with Tong Yong Machinery, Huizhou, China. The objective of the cooperation is the development of a high efficient and reliable refrigerant compressor. It started in December 2013. In the meantime 4 prototypes were built. Prototype No. 3 was tested at Hefei General Machinery & Electrical Products Inspection Institute.

One result of the cooperation are the two German patent applications DE 10 2010 048 204.8 and DE 10 2015 114 508.1.
